In response to the isolation of daily life under lockdown, Sophie Wedgwood began to walk in local parks.  Using the idea of escapism, and taking references from neorealism, the resulting pictures occupy a middle ground between fiction and documentary. The images attempt to reveal the time that has been lost, whilst also providing a window into the trepidation of everyday people as epochal events play out across the world. The project is in progress with casting by Lisa Dymph Megens.
