Sophie Wedgwood is a photographer working across long-form documentary and portraiture.
She began her career at BBC News as a reportage photographer, travelling across the UK on assignment to produce documentary stories. This early grounding in observational photography continues to shape her practice.
Her work has been recognised by Magnum Photos (Emerging Photographer Award, selected by Lua Ribeira), World Press Photo (Joop Swart Masterclass), and the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize at the National Portrait Gallery.
