Sophie Wedgwood is a photographer from Camberwell, London. She is the recipient of the Magnum Photography Award for Emerging Photographer, selected by Lua Ribeira.

Sophie began her career as a reportage photographer with BBC News, where she was commissioned by Phil Coomes to travel across the UK, documenting and writing about her experiences. Her early work—most notably the series Growing Up Young, which focuses on young women—earned critical acclaim and marked her emergence as a distinctive voice in contemporary photography.

Her work has been selected for World Press Photo (Joop Swart Masterclass), The Webby Awards (Best Photography), and Magnum Awards (Graduate Award and Emerging Photographer).
